Jimothey Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 I saw this and thought would this actually work? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F143045488192 Quote
alyctes Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 My guesses: If it's just (!) a revision to the headstock and a new bridge, it'll probably be tunable. It might be really muddy though. If seller has put on a new neck of a different length, and the body hasn't been revised to handle it... very unlikely. Quote

Blimey. that's very short scale, I bet the strings are like rubber bands. Wonder if it's a proper scale length and built as a bass or a conversion? E and G strings look too close to the ends of the pickups too. Quote

That's what I mean it looks like they've just filled and drilled new holes for tuners then slapped some bass strings on it and said "hey I've just made a compact bass" ?? Yep - even though they're not individual pole-pieces, I think they are right at the ends! Quote
