Compact stratocaster style bass guitar

My guesses:

If it's just (!) a revision to the headstock and a new bridge, it'll probably be tunable.  It might be really muddy though.

If seller has put on a new neck of a different length, and the body hasn't been revised to handle it...  very unlikely.

Well, that's a bit nicer than the one on ebay...

Blimey. that's very short scale, I bet the strings are like rubber bands. Wonder if it's a proper scale length and built as a bass or a conversion?  E and G strings look too close to the ends of the pickups too.

That's what I mean it looks like they've just filled and drilled new holes for tuners then slapped some bass strings on it and said "hey I've just made a compact bass" ??

Yep - even though they're not individual pole-pieces, I think they are right at the ends!
