I am finding it easier to play a P width neck than a J width and have always lusted after a black P with black scratchguard and maple neck, like this

Am vaguely wondering if anyone fancies doing some kind of a trade - their vgc one of above bass for my 2007 3TS/tort/maple Jazz - which has DiMarzio Power jazz p/ups (I still have original p/ups) and added stack knobs

Its a gorgeous looking bass and appears pretty much as new (no dings or scratches, other than a few fine surface scratches). See pic from porn thread below and also my avatar. FYI, paid just over £500 for it this summer from Mickeyboro and the mods cost > £100

From porn thread http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...7&hl=clarky

Won't be crying if it doesn't work out as my Jazz is a real looker but just wondering what's out there

PS, would consider a Lakland with same configuration but not the one on this site with Villex mods (prefer trad p/ups)

I'm sure it is for a Jazz but, having gigged both, I am more comfortable with the wider string spacing on my P bass

Here it is closer up

FYI, I have swapped for a better fitting WD Products tortoiseshell scratchplate which looks better than this one
