EddiePlaysBass
Hi all, Looking for some ukulele-driven album recommendations. I have Eddie Vedder's album (and the Into The Wild soundtrack) and Lyle Ritz. Genres...I'm a bass player, I'll listen to anything! YouTube links are also welcome, by the way! pigface
Hi Eddie, check out James Hill. He is a virtuoso on the uke, and writes (and sings) some great songs too. I saw him twice last year at the Shetland Folk Festival, playing with his wife Anne Janelle. There is plenty of his stuff on YouTube.

DorsetBlue
Martin Clunes was speaking to a Ukulele player called Taimane Gardner, in his USA Islands series. She was a rather good player (her Uke was a 5 stringer though!!!) and I think she has made some albums (corporate firewall is preventing me from digging much deeper).

prowla
I almost bought one today, but I needed to check the price and I realised I didn't even know there was such a thing as a soprano one.

Whilst I would advise reading up on it first, I would definitely recommend anyone to buy an ukulele. My first was a sopranobut I prefer a concert size. Thinking of getting a tenor soon. dlloyd
You can get a lot of uke for £100. I recommend having a look at this store: https://www.southernukulelestore.co.uk/
