Tullfan Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 Looks great, though as a non expert, neck stamp looks 78 rather than 73. Have you had it for a while? How much is postage to England UK? Thanks🙏🏼
jflesh Posted January 22, 2019 Author Posted January 22, 2019 Hi, the neck stamp is 1972, not 1978. Shipping to uk would be 67£ (based on London delivery).
maut Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 Nice Bass! About the finish... in the neck pocket it looks a bit like sunburst, with the mixture of red and yellowish paint. Is it possible that this is a black over sunburst finish? 1

You're right (thanks), I've modified the description, so new price is 1700£
silverfoxnik Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Still find myself looking at this bass.. It just looks so cool and rock & roll to me - makes me think of JJ Burnell for some reason, even though I know he used a black P Bass with a maple neck. Anyway, GLWTS (again) 1
probonopublico Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 This is weird, I have the exact same: 1973 black, got it refinished from sunburst, new pickguard (tort to black) nobs and pots. And you are right, it's a killer of a bass to play and sound. GLWS or bonne chance pour la vente 2 1
