maut Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 (edited) Amazing lightweight bass from the Höfner Contemporary Series. No signs of use at all, has been played only a few times at home. It´s as new. Killer tone, all the warm McCartney sounds plus a few more possible. As I understand it they use the original german pickups on the contemporary series, maybe that´s why this sounds so good. But for some reason I prefer my black Höfner Club bass, so this one needs to go. This is the largest and at the same time lightest Höfner I ever had, it´s only 3,0 kg. And you look like a bass player, it´s as long as a Fender bass. No case, but I have a good box, so shipping is no problem. Edited January 30, 2019 by maut
