liffordmark Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Mate, is there much Difference between this and the elite version

For example in the american elite version there are the new generation of the noiseless pickup made by fender, a "new" preamp that working exactly like the american deluxe version. The last difference is the way to screw the trussrod, in the american elite there's the wheel (like musicman stingray), in the american deluxe the normal screw with the hex key. :)
Evert Albers Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 From what I heard, the differences between Elite and Deluxe are quite minimal indeed. The Fender marketing team did an excellent job in their sales texts apparently. 1
will4bass Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Different..... neckshape, pickups, preamp, truss rod, tuners... Quite a different bass I guess
Guest BassKS Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 In no way is this inferior to the Elite Version. I have the natural one with maple neck and it’s amazing.
