"Diana" - Comus

"Diane" - Husker Du

not exactly the same title but the curious coincindence is that both songs are about rape.

"Diana" - Paul Anka

"Diana" - One Direction

"Diana" - Paolo Nutini

"Diana" - Alejandra Guzman

"Diana" - Lillian Axe

"Diana" - 3 Lb. Thrill

"Diana" - Nerf Herder

"Diana" - The Sounds

"Diana" - Diomedes Diaz

"Diana" - Collage

"Diana" - Eugene Wilde

"Diana" - Munchener Freiheit

"Diana" - Current 93

"Diana" - Paddy Gibney

"Diana" - Prefab Sprout

Most or all of which aren't about rape.

Okay, next challenge. Can anyone think of an A and B such that A is a song by B and B is a song by A?

S.P.

Almost. Nick Lowe released his ‘Bowi’ EP in response to Bowie’s ‘Low’...😆

This one is a cover of the Comus' song :)

What Is Love? In the 80s it was a rhetorical question by Howard Jones - does anybody love anybody anyway, a sage question indeed. However, in the 90s, Haddaway was far more interested in the cessation of the emotional turmoil that it was invariably having upon him.

We had a couple request "The Wedding Song" as their first dance, which is definitely in this category (in this case they wanted the Matthew Mole song, not Peter Paul and Mary or any of the seemingly dozens of others).

@Stylon Pilson - "Brenda Stubbert's" is on Ashley McIsaac's album "Hi How Are You", and "Ashley McIsaac's" is on Brenda Stubbert's album "In Jig Time".

"I Don't Believe in Miracles"
- The wonderful song by Colin Blunstone from his 1972 album "Ennismore".
- The powerful song, but different in every respect, by historically important christian artist Larry Norman from his 1969 album "Upon This Rock".

Rat Race

By Bob Marley, UK Subs, The Specials, The Drifters, Enter Shikari and arguably Skindred.

You win again - there's a lot of covers, but there's Bee Gees (who started me thinking of this song title), Hank Williams Jr, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jerry Lee Lewis, C-Block, and Johnny Rivers. I'm not sure who did the originals for a couple of those which are multiply covered and life's too short to work it out. E&OE.

Angel eyes - Jeff Healey

Another (and possibly the best) 'Angel Eyes' performed here by Little Steven and The Disciples of Soul. Garry Tallent (E Street Band) on bass I believe, although Jean Beauvoir (ex-Plasmatics) was in the touring band at the time and possibly played on the album too. Current bassist is the equally wonderful Jack Daley, who will hopefully be in the band on their upcoming tour of Europe in May.

IIRC Iron Maiden and Fields Of The Nephilim both released singles called "Moonchild" in 1988

I think there are some more... Though not all from '88.

Captain Beefheart, King Crimson and Shakespeare's Sister to name but 3.
