I liked the look of the new fender acoustic / electric guitar, telecaster style. Then I just went to look at the price. If it was £1500 less I think I might find it more interesting!

Epifani UL310.

I am totally aware that this is deraling, but that is the world's most under rated cab. Just superb.

Not heard ANYTHING about the Tech21 YYZ other than the release announcement, which was kind of screwed by Prymaxe's premature pre-order page. Surprised there hasn't been more of a noise about it...

To add a little more, its your cab I own now as I believe you sold it to Taria. I picked it up a couple of weeks back :)

I'm enjoying the Andertons You Tube output, but really not seen anything (yet) that's made me sit up and go, 'Oooh.'

Yes I enjoy that too but this year they've been noticeably bass-lite with no dedicated bass presenters (Lee?). Coverage of basses on the Ibanez walk-through was token to say the least.

Highlights for me were the Strandberg Boden bass although it looks expensive for its production base (see other thread on this). YYZ pedal does look good too. Some of the Ibanezs look nice - BTB anniversary for example... Although the signatures are insanely expensive.

So overall a bit 'meh' I'd say...

I’m glad in a way as there is less GAS and less money to spend.

I am excited about the Source Audio Spectrum/Elevon though.

Nice - can't see pricing though. Hmm. Am prepared to be disheartened!

GAK have the Elf head plus 1x10 for £500, so presumably the 1x10 combo is going to be a similar price.

But no information

That's going to confuse every GK owner in the world, isn't it? They've put the EQ the right way round.

And to repeat what I said on that thread: How much headroom do you need? 18V supply is overkill for instrument-level effects - it's a signal that's about 150mV peak to peak. Imagine someone standing next to Nelson's Column. That's how much headroom 9V gives you. Now imagine driving a double decker bus filled with Ashdown effects into an Olympic sized swimming pool. That's what Keith Moon would have done.

Not entirely sure it's an exclusive of NAMM, but Sterling by MusicMan posted some nice looking basses/guitars on Facebook earlier, this beaut caught my eye:

I like the finish on that. Don't know if it would sway me to getting a stingray but it would certainly have me looking twice

Spector Holoflash want their colour scheme back...

Especially as they've done it wrong here...!

No comments about the rather odd CLAW approach used by the player in the pic? Even the left hands looks odd... great technique.... I wish they would use models that can actually hold an instrument.

I think that looks appalling. Kind of like the bass is see-thru and you're actually looking at the festering insides of the player's stomach or some such

I assumed that was just some bloke who was holding it at the time of the photo, maybe he wasn't playing - who knows.
