The Fender Classic 60s Jazz Bass has a Nitro Lacquer finish giving it a more open sound, a 'flatter' look and - if you're planning on keeping your Fender Classic Series bass for a while - will also lead to more-authentic wear for those who love finishes that have been worn by years of playing. 

All the great features of Classic Series Fender basses are included on the Lacquer model. That includes a vintage 7.25" radius fretboard and slim C-shaped neck, vintage  single-coil bass pickups, American Vintage bass bridge, vintage reverse tuners and a tweed case.
