Bass guitar strap favourites

I'm a huge fan of Italia Leather from California, I have several. Fair pricing, made to order, thick leather, and choice of a smooth glove leather back or a rough suede back that will stick to your shoulder. I love them. They have loads of special deals for repeat customers too, by email almost on a weekly basis.

I've got two Heistercamp straps - handmade in Devon.  I like them both but the padded Onyx one is particularly comfy.

Right on straps! I got one from Manson's in Exeter. Leather strap, Spanish made, has a little slot for two picks at the end where you connect to the guitar body. Very comfortable, I've got it on my Stingray. Nice colours too. Mine was about £3

I've also got a Right On strap that I picked up at Bassdirect .   That is on my heaviest bass, it's nice and wide with some padding. Distributes the weight well and was about 1/2 the price of the Heistercamp ones.

Can anyone recommend me a strap with a smooth inside that doesn’t stick to the shoulder?

Straps with a suede or rough leather finish grip too much. I’m after something that slides over my shoulder, instead of pulling the neck of my t-shirt half way down my chest.

These - I've got the widest ones and they are perfect for me (and I've tried loads of different ones over the years)

Adrian stuck one in the case when he sent my bass to me - nice gesture.  Lovely strap, too.
