Dosi Y'Anarchy Posted January 26, 2019 Share Posted January 26, 2019 I've got one and it's awesome. It's a clone of the Xotic BB PREAMP (the guitar one). Here's the thing though, the bass control on both the guitar and bass BB control the same frequency response, just the treble is higher on the guitar one (and therefore the Mosky). I do tend to crank the bass knob on it (when using it on bass) but honestly, it's ended my GAS for an Xotic Bass BB, Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive, JHS Moonshine, Way Huge Green Rhino and of course the Ibanez Bass Tube Screamer..... Might still want a go on the EQD Dunes/Palisades though. When you just want a simple drive, that holds the lows and cuts through the mix and costs absolutely bugger all, the Mosky B-Box is a great choice.
