stewblack Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 What wine will you be having with that? Seriously though, looks great already, love this kind of invention. 1 Quote
Newfoundfreedom Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Superb! I can't wait to see how you're going to make a pedal board out of a cooker hob. Lucky it's not gas. 2 Quote

operative451 Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 Hahaha! It's the best lit workspace in my flat... and obvs also doesn't matter if I get glue or paint or whatever on it... anyway! Part 2: top and bottom mock-up: 2 Quote
stewblack Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 (edited) The cooker hob where I'm staying is the best lit place for pics too. Never thought of working on it though - genius. Edited February 3, 2019 by stewblack Quote
ahpook Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Looking good. I've been looking for some of that camouflage paint...no luck yet 4 Quote
operative451 Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 Dimebag inspired paint on... Quote
stewblack Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 I'm intrigued by the anti slip mat and the velcro... I get the paint, the feet and can imagine a 1000 uses for any kind of sticky tape, if I didn't know what the board was for then I am probably on the wrong forum....but why two anti slip systems I wonder Quote
operative451 Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 Job done!! Didn't use the anti slip pad or the Velcro, just stuck the pedals down with heavy duty double sided tape... 5 Quote
stewblack Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 That is feckin awesome. I love the way BC has some people using computer design and cutting technology and others painting chopping boards on the cooker - both achieving similar ends. We truly are a broad church! Quote
operative451 Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 Yay! It was fun too... I just thought the anti slip stuff looked cool... illI'll find another use for it. And I bought the Velcro first but I've found it faffy before and went with the tape option instead... Quote
fleabag Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 It's distressing to know someone was grafting away in the kitchen and no tea came forth. But good job on the board ! 1 1 Quote
MoonBassAlpha Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Nice job. Which pedal connectors did you use? (Not the power ones) Quote
operative451 Posted February 6, 2019 Author Posted February 6, 2019 Thanks! They were these: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0774NLQWR I saw a thing on youtube about the solid sort and why you shouldn't but i figure they're not going to be moving much.. Quote

Expand Please don't tell the cutting edge technology boys that a knife on a chopping board is still just as sharp 😂 1 Quote
