davebass66
So I have a set of original Wizard 64’s that have been sat around for a few years and would now like to put them into a bass I’m working on.... However, I’ve got it in my head that when I fitted them originally the wiring was backwards from normal on these (black goes where white normally goes and white where black goes). Can anyone tell me if I’m right thinking this?! Unfortunately I can’t get in touch with Andy as he is no longer in business. Any help super appreciated!! KiOgon
Try it, you won't hurt anything and should be able to tell - I think they're conventional - white is 'hot' output.
BassBunny
Although Wizard is no more these guys picked up where Andy left off so should be able to help. https://www.hot-rodpickups.com/

Muppet
Interesting you say this. I had a set of wizard thumpers that were wired differently from what I expected for a Precison pup. After a quick chat to the hot rod guys I rewired them and they worked perfectly. It wasn't a uniform swap black for white, it was more one side was different to the other.
