la bam Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 (edited) Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has experience with the rm500 and in particular the 210 cab? The spec says it goes to 60hz. Is that low enough? Ideally I'd pair with another rm 210. But possibly could buy a 115 to add depth if needed? It will always be used with pa support. Any real life experiences welcome. Cheers. Merton Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 I believe @AndyTravis has this exact set up Quote
AndyTravis Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 I’ve got the 500/210 combo. Think I want another 210 underneath just to push more air. Miss my old 410 setup. Quote
la bam Posted February 5, 2019 Author Posted February 5, 2019 The rig I've been offered has a rm210 ext cab, but it's the vertical speaker alignment, whereas the combo is diagonal. Will this make a difference? Do you find the 210 low enough? Quote
AndyTravis Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Just now, la bam said: The rig I've been offered has a rm210 ext cab, but it's the vertical speaker alignment, whereas the combo is diagonal. Will this make a difference? Do you find the 210 low enough? Plenty. Actually a bit mad how low it will go - I’m only playing 4’s so can’t speak for 5 strings. my guitarist is running a big valve amp and it keeps up with no issue, but I just fancy lifting it up a bit. la bam Posted February 5, 2019 Author Posted February 5, 2019 cheers. I only play 4 string, and it would just be for monitoring really. plan is to use a separate pre to the desk and into the return of the amp head, then just have this in the background for stage monitoring. Quote
