CameronJ Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Wow! Some beautiful instruments there! I bet they all sound killer too. What’s the single coil 5 string P bass in the middle? Quote

It is Alleva Coppolo 81009, a century old one piece pine body, maple neck, single coil pickup, nitro finish...best bass I've ever played... 1 Quote

mattbass6 Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 (edited) That is beautiful and I am not normally a Jazz bass fan. It looks amazing but, your F Bass is something else. That made me visit the F Bass site and has reignited a lot of GAS. Thanks for that 🙄😂 Edited February 6, 2019 by mattbass6 1 Quote

ianrendall Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 First time back out to rehearsal since last March with my Satin tonight. Very excited! Quote
Sibob Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 How do their satin finishes wear? I imagine they might be more susceptible to bumps and scrapes? Lovely collection! Si Quote

Si I keep quite an active interest on the Sadowsky Bass Owners Facebook group and I haven’t yet heard of any complaints about the finish. The surface does feel more robust than it looks however.
