wmsheep Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Nice Carvin XB75P(??) warwickhunt Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Considering it's loaded with piezos as well that looks quite handy. Were it a 4 I'd have had a punt to see what it played like. Quote
bassbloke Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 2nd hand Carvin basses represent fantastic value for money. The depreciation on them is just unbelievable. You're getting a semi custom US-made bass for less than the cost of a Mexican Fender or a Korean ESP. The only thing that can let them down is pickups. Quote
MoonBassAlpha Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 ... went for £420 in the end. Just missed out. Quote

I sold my LB75P (HB & J at the neck) on here for £399.99. Fantastic instruments, but I needed the money
The only thing that can let them down is pickups.
-1 never had probs with mine, they even sounded good passive. Golchen Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 I quite fancy a Carvin but I totally don't go for light coloured quilted tops. Real Ugggh factor for me, I'd have to have something dark. Quote
BassBunny Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008
Was it anyone on here?
It very nearly was Bloody Broadband went down and didn't get a chance to up my offer.
