TheGreek Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 Looking like one and being one are a million miles apart.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bass-Guitar-Jaydee-Copy/283368092919?hash=item41fa0df4f7:g:dAoAAOSwK9ZcWq3z Quote
alyctes Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 (edited) Whether it's a Jaydee copy or not, I wouldn't bid on anything with this in the listing: "Price is negotiable, make an offer and we'll talk from there. " Edited February 8, 2019 by alyctes Quote
fleabag Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 (edited) That is an oddball - like the bustard love child of Status and Teisco. Dont know what the neck pup is, but the bridge is a Schaller 232 Bassbucker, same as in my Paisley bass. You can just make out the original holes for the height adjustment screws, which are now sat between dual screws. so some one has altered that for some reason It's a Springett , same as this guitar Edited February 8, 2019 by fleabag Quote
Happy Jack Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 For a 4-string bass (or any bass, for that matter) to have five control knobs AND five flick switches is just obscene. And that bridge pickup is surely too narrow ... that's a neck pickup mounted in the wrong position, I reckon. Quote
fleabag Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 I think i agree on the pup position. My 232 is in the neck pozish Quote
fleabag Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 Throw some fries in with that, and make it to go. Ta 1 Quote
