Anyone played a Dean Edge Pro 5?

I've fallen in love with the Dean Edge Pro 5 after abusing google and youtube... but has anyone actually played it in the flesh or heard it being played?

One of my pupils many years ago had one of the original Edge models with the active eq & it was a great sounding & playing bass for the money. I just looked up the pro 5 & it looks awesome in the black & the tiger eye colours. The monorail bridges are look very sturdy and cool as well. Did you check out everyone's suggestions from the other thread, Sarah?

Yea I did. I went guitar shopping yesterday but couldn't find much in 5 string at all. have a soft spot for deans as already have a 4 string metalman ML 2a which sounds amazing and I love it.
