Gym Class Heroes

Hi all, so I've been getting into this band called Gym Class Heroes lately and I'm very very impressed by their bassist. He has such a tight lock with the (very talented) drummer and he's a bassist that's learned that silence is a note. (Well.. It's a rest!) Plays some nice, tasteful funk/hip hop kind of grooves which complements the music perfectly.

One of my current favourite bass players in pop(ish) music at the moment. Worth a listen (just not in their single at the moment.. "Take a look at ma' girlfriend!" one..)

What gets me is that in the 'Cupids Chokehold' single, the guy singing the chorus isn't even in GCH, its the singer from Fallout Boy lol

So they're first single is a cover with another singer, difficult to follow methinks, but we'll see!

Thats only on the Radio Version, i dont think it was Patrick on the original Edit And yes, Very tight bassist, Dosnt over-do it. Very well Refined.

i like em... Fall out boy are good friends with them and grew up with them...there in there latest single too.

I don't have a problem with anyone else listening to them or admiring their bassist's skills. I just wanted to go on the record as saying what I truly think of their music.

Magnolia reminded me how good Supertramp are. They're not really good, but they're good.
