After weeks, possibly months, of saying ā€œI wanna fretless, I need a fretless, i can’t justify one, I don’t play fretless, I would if I had oneā€ etcĀ I finally have one. Ā Well, actually it’s with the guitar repair man getting some new strings and a full setup. I could do it but he’s sooo much better than me. Ā Originally owned by the lovely Ricardo Westie and made fretless by John Shuker it’s the red oneĀ in the photo. Ā The black jazz copy is a BC purchaseĀ and it’s great. Ā The 6 is a Peavey Grind, also great (I may gut the electrics one day, but I say that about all my basses/guitars). Ā IfĀ I manage to get to the South West Bass Bash I’ll bring these with me - not as exciting as some pieces, but they’re mine and I love ā€˜em!

I love the conversation to yourself justifying it... All too familiar with me, not sure about anyone else šŸ˜‚

A lovely little collection and variety between each model. Hope you're enjoying the fretless, Yamaha's are great instruments and seems like it's made a fretless correctly. No expoxy glue on the fretboard? šŸ˜‚
