Purchased this after first owning a Farida bass and acknowledging what great guitars these are: guitar or bass, both half the price of their Fender counterparts (of which, the acoustics are made in the same factory as Farida acoustics) and really feel greater in build and sound. Their style is perhaps questionable BUT don't judge books by their covers 😉👍🏻

The CT-32 body shape features sleek contours, uniquely carved double-cutaways, and bevelled edges to ensure a slender and comfortable playing feel. The upper bout slopes off to yield a subtle rest for your picking arm, allowing you play with ease. Farida has employed solid alder as the body tonewood. Noted for its balanced tonality, alder expresses a timbre that is filled with deep lows, dense mids, and crisp highs. It is also a lightweight tonewood, which means that you can comfortably wield the CT-32 for extended periods of time.

Fitted to the body is a supple maple neck, which is shaped to a slim and accommodating profile to encourage a fast-playing feel. Married to the neck is a sumptuous rosewood fingerboard that carries 22-frets, which are adorned with clay dot position inlays to guide your fingers in style. The headstock carries Kluson nickel tuning machines that work tirelessly to maintain tuning integrity, whilst the fixed bridge keeps strings securely anchored for accurate intonation.

The heart of the Farida CT-32’s vintage tone lies in the pairing of P-90-style single-coil pickups – fitted in both the neck and bridge positions. The creamy warmth of the P-90s guarantees a smooth output, and given a push, they respond with an energy that is suited to heavier musical styles. Control over the pickups comes in the form of a three-way pickup selector, which enables you to independently select the neck or bridge pickup, or combine both for a fuller output. Each pickup has individual volume and tone pots, which enable you to shape the output with incredible precision.
