andytoad
I just bought this, thought it might be a good fixer upper. Anyone know the model and details? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323696011636
BassBunny
There's a post called " Obscure Musical Backwaters" in the Bass Guitars section. It's all about SGC Nanyos. I'd ask there. Either way as an owner of 3 Bass Collections, that looks a nice one at a bargain price.
BreadBin
If that pricelist has any relevance you got a real bargain.
TheGreek
Translucent paint and bolt on neck - 320? However the 3 series basses normally have a PJ pup set up. £179 is a very reasonable price. It will feel like it cost more than that. Good buy.
pete.young
I would say based on the translucent finish and gold hardware that it's an SB325. 5 strings are normally JJ. Well done.
Roger2611
As Pete.young has said, I would say it is an SB325, You got it for a decent price, I had a look at it but am not playing 5 strings anymore
Bassassin
Bit of a steal. Don't really play 5ers - but at that price it would've been hard not to...

andytoad
Presume the serial number will give away the model?

Nope, the serial number will give you the year of manufacture. 1st 2 digits are the year. I found a clue to 2 of mine in the heel pocket. When i removed the neck it had SB*** series stamped in it. The rest of the model would be down to active/passive etc.

andytoad
Well, I’ve got it. It’s an active one, SB320 according to the back plate. Year 95, again, according to the backplate
