la bam Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Im on the lookout for a natural or amber precision style bass. These have alwaysbeen around and i never like them. Sods law, now i do, theres none around under £1000. It seems every manufacturer does a jazz in natural or amber, from £200 upwards, but none do the precision. Am i missing something? Even the modified squiers look great, but theyre now discontinued. Is there any reasonable natural or amber precisions out there? Id like to mod with a tortoise shell scratchplate too if possible. three Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 (edited) There’s a beautiful natural US Lakland Bob Glaub PJ (jazz taper) in the classifieds. I have the same bass but in oly white. These are outstanding instruments and my favourite Fender clone by some distance. I had an Overwater in the same spec (but natural) until recently - the new owner added a lovely tort plate - outrageously gorgeous Edited February 25, 2019 by three Quote
Lozz196 Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 There`s the FSR 70s Precision in natural, was one on here a bit back, not sure if gone now though. They turn up every now & then on the `bay as well. Quote
