KingPrawn
Such sad news. A great musician. Spirit of Eden is one of the greatest albums ever written. RIP
jezzaboy
Sad news indeed. I love The colour of spring from 86. Pretty dark album but sometimes it just hits the spot for me.

Linus27
Yep, very sad. The Colour of Spring is probably in my top 3 albums ever. All the musicians are amazing and Pail Webb is one of my fav bassist.
HazBeen
RIP, I must have been about 12 when I got into Talk Talk. Complex, rich, dark lyrics. Absolute A class band. You will be remembered.
PaulFenderJazz
First knew them in their New Romantic phase. It’s My Life definitely an underrated album: all the plaudits for Colour of Spring onwards are fully deserved. And a man of principle, he retired from music to be with his family. Great loss
fleabag
Big fan of TT here. Its My Life and Colour Of Spring have sat in my collection since around '87. Unique band, almost un-pigeonholable. Hollis was a fab song writer and one of the most easily recognisable voices in music. Very sad
JellyKnees
Sad news, loved Spirit of Eden in particular, it drips with understated beauty. RIP Mark.
TheGreek
Great front man from a great band - definitely not given the respect both he and the band deserve. A sad loss. RIP
