It is sort of Neve like, but I actually prefer them to 1073's, bigger bottom end- great for bass and kick drum. The ViPre is amazing, I've had that here since 2004. Quote
WinterMute Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 (edited) Phoenix kit is the biz, ex API engineers, I have their N16 summing mixer in my home studio rack. its hiding behind the S3 here. More to the point, Fractal and Kemper? Edited May 25, 2019 by WinterMute 1 Quote

WinterMute Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 Really like the Kemper, never used the Fractal though, don’t play guitar, spent a long time with the Bass Pod XT Pro rack, still have the bean... My guitarist buddy has the Helix, I might grab the rack version at some point, but I’m not doing a whole lot of playing currently, lots of mixing and restoration. Quote
jensenmann Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Some more racks, this time from my control room: 3 Quote

itu Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 I did some search and the HS (high speed) model uses faster slew rate opamps compared to that basic model. TL074 is pretty basic and cheap quad opamp, so upgrading them might change the behavior a bit. May belong to "nearly-audible-and-hard-to-hear" area but does not cost so much. Let's see... 1 Quote
