Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 (edited) Ok its for charidee, but I can't get my head around how anyone would want to pay so much for this. Its not as if its actually one of Stings basses, just a standard CIJ sig model with a scribble on the Pickguard. I like the sting bass, but I'm always put off by the 12th fret pearl block with the printed signature. Having the pickguard autographed as well would really ruin it. Surely it can't be that difficult to get Mr Sting to sign a pickguard. odub Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 If anything you'd have thought it would have put the price down. Quote
Ou7shined Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Over 3000 clams for charity and you have to pay for your own postage. That's not very charitable. Pah! I'm a tad cynical about the 0 feedback. Quote
johnnylager Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Didn't Stuart Copeland have 'Sting is a c***' written on his tom heads or is it an urban myth? How much would they be worth? Quote
wateroftyne Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I reckon it'll be bought by some landed gentry up the Tyne Valley who knows nowt about basses but wants a nick-nack to put on their wall, whilst doing their bit for charity... Quote

yorks5stringer Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Don't think he lives up the Toon now: he has a big place in Wiltshire amongst many others. Quote
