I could rabbit on about how amazing it is but Ill let the pictures do the talkin' It is the best bass ive played for tapping and slapping and also has a "throaty" sound, and of course growling mids What im after is any of the following models in 4 or 5 string: Warwick Infinity Warwick Stryker Warwick Buzzard for sale at £1400 Edited May 30, 2008 by JakeBass
JakeBass Posted July 30, 2007 Author Posted July 30, 2007 As promised, here are a few rough soundclips. Recorded Flat on the EQ but pickup blend and the double jazz pickup at the bridge has been altered to show tonal versatility of the Warwick Vampyre. Recorded directly from the bass into the sound card and then into Cubase. Cheers
MythSte Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 What a tone monster! Id love one someday, but now 1400 is just out of my league. Good luck sir

JakeBass Posted August 1, 2007 Author Posted August 1, 2007 2 and 3 are my favourite. From memory I think it goes it the order: 1.Pickup blend set in the middle using the both jazz pickups 2.Pickup blend is biased towards the bridge pickups about 75%, still using both jazz pickups 3.Pickup blend all the way to the neck pickup 4.Pickup blend all the way to the bridge using both jazz pickups 5.Pickup blend all the way to the bridge using one jazz pickup(the one closest to the bridge) Remember this is what I think I had it as when I was recording. You can tell what is pretty much from the tonal characteristics from each clip. number 4 is a great one but im not a huge fan of jazz bass pickups. Im a P man all the way and is the ONLY reason for the sale. I would love me a Warwick Stryker as it has a double P bass pickup. Same with the Warwick Buzzard, so if you have any of them, please give me a buzz Also would be interested in a Sadowsky P bass with a bridge Pickup or anything that is neck Pickup orientated.
