burno70
I listened to the new Ulysses tune yesterday - as awesome as ever. Absolutely love this guy's style and tone.
Heathy
Looks like the musicman now has a tone knob.
cheddatom
To be fair this was probably recorded before the signature model came out
dannybuoy
Glad to see him playing these MM style basses again, they sit in the mix perfectly for this style of music!
chris_b
Fabulous playing from everyone. Thanks for posting.

kevin_lindsay
I may well be wrong. Whatever bass it is, it's an ugly beast! Hahaha
Dubs
Every time I see a Nate Smith video I send it to my drummer.
Davo-London
Heresy maybe, but I preferred his Precision/Jazz tone. Admittedly not a lot in it though. It's still Joe Dart. Peace Davo
drTStingray
The Tesla video, if not the other one have been around since before the Musicman signature. It all sounds great to me - and oh for a drummer like this who knows how to play funk - without a whacking great fill which removes all the space and clashes with the other instruments every fourth bar (a la many 1968 rock bands - ok though it was back then). Rock drummers should study Steve Gadd 😏 Edited June 10, 2019 by drTStingray
Davo-London
Steve Gadd is a monster drummer. EVERYONE should study Steve Gadd. His interview about 50 ways to leave your lover is, however, possibly the worst interview ever! Davo
drTStingray
Yep agreed. According to Joe Dart and Jack Stratton that cheapo Robelli was the inspiration for the signature bass - they got them to make a top quality version of it, basically.
