Bridgehouse Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 (edited) Been busy with (yet another!) startup business. Managed to get my head above the parapet for a bit. So, what’s happening? Anything exciting? I’ve totally fallen off the GAS wagon - I even forgot Alan was building me a fretless 5 😂 I scrapped the EB-0 idea as I don’t have the time. I might have developed a bit of Yammy BEX gas after I saw one being played out in the wild, but they seem to be as rare as quiet guitarists. Edited March 3, 2019 by Bridgehouse Quote
Bridgehouse Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 I know bass players are reserved, but there’s really been nowt going on? Blimey. Quote
Dan Dare Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Nowt out of the ordinary. Life continues on its merry way. Quote
Cato Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 The Mickey Shitenbacker thread was quite entertaining. 1 1 Quote

Bridgehouse Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 Typical. The usual tawdry drivel about Shitenbacker Gaylords and nobody - I say, nobody posts any decent pics. How am I supposed to get through all that text without some decent pictures to break it up? Quote
Bridgehouse Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 But apart from that... nothing else of note? Quote
BreadBin Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 I employed classic man-maths to justify picking up a rusty old Mercedes estate to use whilst my BMW awaits repair. Quote
Toddy Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Madly, just remembered my password, been yrs since visited, and er, well, guess it's kind of comforting to find nothing has changed lol....... 1 Quote

For £500 I think I did alright, as well as being big enough to fit in all my gear (including 20 bass and 5 guitars) it's also easily the fastest diesel I've driven. Quote
seashell Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 I've been to Cuba. That was quite exciting. 😊 Quote

seashell Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Yes, but not unbearably so (about 30 degrees) Just remembered, this thread isn't in Off Topic! So to keep it musical..there are local musicians in every bar and restaurant, really good stuff. But the highlight for us was a little jazz club we found right near our hotel in Havana. Fantastic atmosphere, the band were phenomenal and the entrance fee of (about) £9 included two free drinks!! 1 Quote

To be fair to be on topic I was asking about anything spectacular that had happened whilst I was quiet 😎 Quote
