ped Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 cant open that on my hospital thing but sounds like a rare find . apparently the pickups and leccy in these are tailored for superbstudio performance. on my try list for certain. ped Quote
The Burpster Posted July 24, 2007 Author Posted July 24, 2007 I cannot wax lyrical enough about them..... they are simply everything you'd expect of a 4 string........ Quote
guitarnbass Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Even if you had the money, would you really pay someone with 12 feedback in Taiwan 1200 quid? Quote
ped Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Just had a look at the auction - lovely looking bass, really simple and clean. Have you got any sound clips of yours? ped Quote
The Burpster Posted July 26, 2007 Author Posted July 26, 2007 Ped. (hope the back is OK) Not yet but I'll try to put some together at some time TBH the two of mine (3rd one on its way form US) sound quite a bit difernt. My SwampAsh Maple necked one is a lovely deep dark rich blues sound (actaully just what I wanted!) with flats one and teh Maple bodied, maple/rosewood necked one is considerably brigther even with teh same strings. This works quite wel for me as I can get a (slightly) toned down roundwound sound with flats on it and the Swampy sounds liek a double bass..... I'm really excited to see what the 3rd one sounds like when it clears customs...... From a tactile point of view they are simply gorgeous. B. Quote
