Spewy Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 My lad has posted mine into my cab, I’ve managed to rescue most of them but am missing a few, any ideas where I can get replacements? Quote
Sparky Mark Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Which type? There have been a few over the decades. A photo would help. Quote
Paul S Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 You could probably get by with small bits of heat shrink tubing. A bit Blue Peter, though. Quote
Deedee Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 These are from British Audio: https://britishaudio.com/collections/trace-elliot-parts/products/trace-elliot-sm-smx-acoustic-slider-cap Quote
ianrendall Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Somebody could have quite a good little side business 3D printing these things. Quote
ahpook Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 I doubt Trace Elliot used special parts - I'd be surprised if you can't find a suitable replacement from your favourite online retailer. Quote
Spewy Posted March 12, 2019 Author Posted March 12, 2019 Cheers guys, I’ve got some on the way now👍 1 Quote

PunkPonyPrincess Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 (edited) I have replacement parts (but which did not come with them caps). Edited March 26, 2019 by PunkPonyPrincess Quote
whizzzy Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 In the past I've managed to adapt the covers used for miniature toggle switches - https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/toggle-switch-caps/8431985/ They need to be trimmed down in height but they can usually be pushed onto the slider shaft. a tiny spot of glue such as evo stick may help to keep then in position as well. TheGreek Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 TE head for spares - pretty sure you could recoup your money if sold in bits https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Trace-Elliot-GP12-5MX-Bass-amp-head-spares-repair/283472148276?hash=item420041b734:g:tjgAAOSw6aJczFrJ Quote
