Darren 5563 Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 I was asking about particular tunes and someone recommend Guitar Tabs, I assume it was one of their Scammers as turns out it's a big money fleecing set up, like a prat I had already " signed up for the year" as saw a lot of Bass Guitar songs/tunes I was looking for, turns out when you sign up the songs magically disappear along with the £20, please please please stay away, read trust A Pilot first, unlike me and many others, learn the guitar using the YouTube way,. 2 Quote
mikel Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Lots of guitar and bass tab sites out there, most are free. What site in particular are you calling out? Quote
HengistPod Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 I just use Songsterr ... and of course I never just screenshot their stuff page by page, paste into a Word document and print out. 2 1 7 Quote

Chris2112 Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Interesting scam, I haven't heard of this. I usually try to transcribe by ear and use Songsterr for the really tough stuff. I'll admit that I did use Songsterr to get some of Jeff Berlin's 'Tears In Heaven' down as it's pretty wild and complex. Quote
Skinnyman Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 (edited) Guitar Tapp is an excellent aggregation app that pulls together most of the tabs from a range of online sites into one searchable place. The quality of tabs varies - of course. But it's a great little (free) consolidation app PS thanks for the heads up! Edited March 12, 2019 by Skinnyman Quote
