ricksterphil Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 a bargain if you're into vintage amps https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Acoustic-Model-118-Bass-Combo-Amp-Amplifier/223414663809?hash=item34048d3a81:g:nx8AAOSwMoZccDo~ 1 Quote
troubadour Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 I'd seen that and was very tempted. I don't need it at all but it's such a great thing and it's nearby in Leeds. Re. the Kitchens sticker on the back - there used to be a Kitchens Music Shop in Leeds so it looks like it hasn't travelled very far. Or at least ended up back where it started off. Quote
ricksterphil Posted March 13, 2019 Author Posted March 13, 2019 Be interesting to see how it compares sound-wise to a modern combo like a Markbass Quote
Jezyorkshire Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 I’ve messaged him about the Squier Jazz bass and I’ve asked for the serial number and he hasn’t given me it, I’ve sent him 2 messages and his second reply was “ he can’t keep replying to messages” he’s got some very odd listings for cameras and a lens with no photos and no real descriptions, I would be very wary of this seller? 1 Quote
Happy Jack Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Was that exposed red & black wiring for the speaker really how they used to it? Quote

The power lead would originally have been black though. I’m interested to know about the 120V input. Do you have to use it with a transformer, were they changed for the UK market but the label not or doesn’t it matter? Quote
