I've often considered having the bridge pickup removed from one of my Thunderbirds with a similar cover up, but I imagine it would probably cost more that the bass! No, had the whole body done in nitro: just 4 coats and no clear coat so the dints and scratches and bare patches below will/have already re-emerged.
