Rich Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 I've always far preferred the GA24 shape to the normal Supernatural/MK, and I don't just mean the pointy tail. As a package it's much more pleasing to my eye. The Calibas shape was v.nice too. 2 Quote

Hers doesn't appear to have neck binding, 24 frets or the sharper point to the body behind the bridge of the GA24. Edited October 25, 2022 by Sparky Mark 1 Quote

TheGreek Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 The GA I had was pink. Sold it to someone in Russia...no photos available unfortunately. 1 Quote
kevin_lindsay Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 I was on the phone chatting to Jaydee about my Series 1 order. Looks like my bass may be ready in around 3 months time. It's already paid for, so it's just a case if waiting for it to completed 2 Quote
TheGreek Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Has anyone else seen the Celeste on Gumtree? Advertised for £1 the seller is holding out for what they consider sensible offers. 1 Quote

Acebassmusic Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Can't seem to see many photos of Calibas's on here so here's mine which I played for a number of years and sold in 2004. It was my first foray into boutique basses and was for me an "Ah, that's what a great bass is like" moment. It was a few years old when I bought it and had some wear and tear so I stripped it, had John refurb the electrics, body and neck resprayed and buffed by a local shop and I cleaned / lacquered all the brass bits to keep the bling alive 😁 Quality bass with lots of nice features but weighed about 11lbs+ 5 Quote

Russ Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Jaydee are supposed to be bringing back the Celeste range, and, in the meantime, will make one to order, so he can't be charging too much! I'd say he'd be looking at maybe £400 for that. Quote

This looks like the same bass and he is asking £750.00 https://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/121974806/jaydee-celeste-supernatural-bass.html?link=%2Fclassifieds%2Fmaking-music%2Felectric-guitars if it is in good shape I can see why, considering they are quite rare and the wait time for a new one would 16 months. No idea what the price of a Celeste would be, but Jaydee basses start at £1650 ( Roadie 1) Edited January 31, 2023 by leroydiamond Quote
