I realise they aren't perhaps regarded as 'real' status as I don't think there's any graphite in these at a, but are they good basses and is there anything to watch out for? oldslapper Posted March 17, 2019 Share Posted March 17, 2019 I had a 6 string Energy. Lovely bass, wide and flat (shallow) neck profile, similar to Status Groove bass. Fat tones (very versatile eq) and comfortable balanced body. I’ve liked all the wooden necked Statii I’ve owned, don’t know why anyone would consider them not a proper Status bass.
