la bam Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Hi all, As above, does anyone have any experience on the g&l lb100 basses? They look great value. Quote
gary mac Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 I've not yet played this particular model but having owned plenty of G&L basses and guitars, I'm sure it will be a great instrument. Quote
petebassist Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Ed Friedland's done a nice review on YT, and he had four so must be pretty good... Quote
la bam Posted March 22, 2019 Author Posted March 22, 2019 Great stuff. Thanks. I've just picked up a g&l m2000 as everyone seems to like g&l. It looks and sounds awesome so far! May well get a l1000 in the near future now as well. 1 Quote
dub_junkie Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Andertons are showing the 2019 USA made LB100 (and JB) Standards for order. https://www.andertons.co.uk/g-l-fullerton-standard-lb-100-bass-in-emerald-blue-metallic-w-caribbean-rosewood-fingerboard-(non-cites) Quote
bigthumb Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Thomann have a B-stock Tribute for £380, it would be very tempting if I weren't skint. If they (and they will be) are as good as my JB-2 Tribby it will be a fantastic bass. It's certainly on my wish list. I've had a US L2000, L2000 Tribute, M2000 Tribute, and my current JB-2. All excellent basses. Quote
scalpy Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 (edited) I love mine! Edited March 27, 2019 by scalpy Slightly better picture! Quote
White Cloud Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Great basses. If it's G&L then it's good. 1 Quote
