Lots of stuff I dig. This is a cracker. Lots of groove I do love. Not taking anything away from Melvins fantastic playing but I would love to hear Pino Palladino play this bass line. Its perfect for some of his incredible groove and fills.

That's a great album.

I watched a documentary where Mark Farner said he got ripped off by the other members and isn't allowed to play his own songs now.

I absolutely love this one - great pulsing bass, lyrics still poignant, fab ott drums towards the end :)  Rattled my bong, that's for sure :)

When it comes to GFR, the first 5 studio/1 live albums are the biggest treat.

Terry Knight's productions pushed the bass centre stage, and all of those records are so essential (well, except 'Survival'), and so bass-driven.

Here's a bit for you - although it needs be through a system, not a laptop or PC for the full bass experience -

Luvverly, not heard that before.

Never mind Led Zep, that could be a cut and paste for Rival Sons, Greta Van Hire et al.
