Schecter Hellraiser V showcase - I'm impressed!

I took a chance and traded this with another BC member. As Schecter seem to be associated with metal, I thought I'd try it with some heavy tunes. But I don't really know many metal tunes apart from Maiden and some Bruce Dickinson! So, Dickinson it was!

The bass is great. Through neck, EMG passive pickups and an 18v 2 band circuit. I dropped the action a lot and its taken it like champ. It plays superb and the bottom end is thunderous!

I think this was the same bass I was drooling over for weeks. (If not the same one then someone selling the same model)

If it didn't have too many strings I would have snapped it up.

Schecter make very good guitars. I own a passive Ultra Spitfire, it's great.

Schecter have been on my radar for a while, and I love the look of their apocalypse range recently out in the past year, a 4, a 5 and a BEAD one.

Also word on the street is they have invested heavily in R&D recently so they are defo worth a squirt

Bass is an absolute unit - served me well in several bands in different genres. Happy to see it being enjoyed
