After rekindling my love for G&L with an SB-2 I thought it prudent to cheese off the wife some more by buying a 2000 USA L2500. In surprisingly good condition.

After a setup, bit of a clean and new strings she sounds and feels just like my old one :)

Hope your good wife is not too unhappy with the purchase:lol:

She is quite good really, but she did say..... "didn't you just buy another?" At least she is paying attention, shows she cares :)

Happy New Bass day. How long until the next one?

 :)

After spending a lot of time downsizing the collection, I must admit I have been mainly adding lately.... not really any room for too many more (12 currently), unless I get rid of a few that is......

Aha, question answered I guess. I hope that you get on well it it

Note: I'm a big G&L fan and have had Tribulte L2000's and L2500s. My facourite bass is an SB2 but I would like to try a US L2500 at some point.

Very nice bass, How are getting on with it Haz?

I liked it (as before), but I use a 5 significantly less than back in the day so traded it against a 4 string Ray. My SB-2 is going nowhere.
