just switched this on to try out a new bass purchase at a sensible volume .. when I turned it up loud the red standby light came on twice shutting the amp down .. I have sine tried to replicate the fault several times and cannot ... I reckon it needs a new fan as it probably doing this when the amp heats up at high volume the fan is not always kicking in and its putting the power-amp into safety mode .. after doing some investigation reading other posts others have experienced the same problem I would send it to an amp tech for a check up but I don't have the time so reduced to £250 + postage. The best new price for one of these is £670

I have the box so will be safe in transit .. also comes with a brand new proper Phil Jones briefcase trolly case

Postage within the EU

How much is shipping to Denmark ? This could be exactly what I am looking for - Work in the Navy and with deployments etc. above my ears at the moment I *NEED* something that is easily transported but still manages to be useable in our little 3-man rock group onboard (Hey - You gotta spend those 4-6 months at sea doing something fun, otherwise you go crazy!).

Tempted... I did just buy a PJB trolley case for this amp from guitarguitar in their sale, could do with buying the amp to fill it!!

Funny, so did I £20 bargain!

Ha! I just bought it to carry various things in, for which it does the job very nicely! But actually filling it with a PJB Briefcase may happen at some point

This amp is brilliant.
I have one in black and love it as a practice amp in the house : you can get a wide array of tones, and it sounds warm and precise even at low volume.
You can clearly hear the difference between the instruments you plug in, and their tonal typicity, which is cool when you like to try out various basses.

Can't justify having two, though.

Everything he said.... although I have a bass with separate pickup outputs and have been tempted to get another one just for that reason but that would be a nice to have rather than a need.
Great little amps though even with a low B. I have used mine with great results for regular acoustic-electric guitars, electric guitars with active electronics and also double bass.
