jimmy23cricket
Hi All, Just toying with starting a potential build. Has anybody gone any recommendations on the best on-line place to purchase timber? I'm specifically after some harder to find woods like Holly and Wenge... Thanks!
Jimothey
I've always heard good things about Exotic Hardwoods UK I've personally not bought from them but I think @Andyjr1515 uses them for his builds?? Not sure if they do Holly though??..........
ChunkyMunky
There's FeelGoodWood on eBay, some other companies online (there's a couple that come to mind) and if you're feeling particularly lazy about fretboards, head to www.guitarmaking.co.uk. Holly as a wood, though? Interesting to say the least.

Going from the data below, it's not a bad shout! SOURCE; https://www.easycalculation.com/other/wood-density-chart.php

The specific one I tend to use is exotichardwoodsukltd.com David Dyke is also a reliable supplier. Not sure if either of them stock holly but worth a peep on their respective websites.
