Clawhammer
Hi Basschatters, I may have to ship a bass, in a case, to Ireland. I have a box to put it in and the dimensions are as follows. From top opening to bottom 120cm, the distance across the front is 49cm and the depth is 12cm. I've taken it to the post office and just put it on the counter scales and got a quote £65 insured for £450. Which carriers do you recommend? Thanks Edited April 12, 2019 by Clawhammer
Paul S
Following a recommendation I read on here I shipped a bass to the Netherlands last week with Eurosender. Size limit was 175cm, insured for up to €2000 (they specifically mention musical instruments) it cost a whisker under €49, although there is also a lower value point too. 2 working days door to door. Very impressed.
