Morning resto on a pre 75 Greco

I purchased a Greco from Japan and have been tracking its progress. It looked pretty mingy in the photos but it was a good price. I went and had a tetnus jab just in case. So I had a bit of time this morning so thought O would show you all.

 

 

So I went here

And picked this Box up.

In it was this filthy thing!!

So I did this

Bailey did this

I then moved out to the garage where I did this.

That left me with this.

Then to the mingy neck

Oh its  greco!🤣

Then moved to the frets. Which are amazing condition for the Year.

Then gave the rosewood a nice drink of Lemon.

Then It was back indoors.

Couldnt keep the tort!  🤮

Well chuffed for a mornings work.

 

I have put cobalt flats on it, vintage 62 pickups. The neck was spot on during set up. Set the height to 2mm and not a buzz or rattle. I think it may work its way to the front of the stand.!!
