Slap on some covers and it looks pretty close to my 82: This bass has nothing to do with lightweight though; it's 11lbs. 2 Quote

My mate had a squier p bass with those knobs, and it does make them look cheap, which is actually quite annoying. Quote

As for the knobs - I wouldn't have thought I'd have liked strat versions on a Jazz But oddly enough, I do quite like them.
