Plus I've always wanted one in this colour with a tort guard.... Edited April 13, 2019 by dannybuoy
AndyTravis
Ah. Spotted that in pmt the other day. Looked nice. No price...nice nod to the Dan Smith era basses.
kyuuga
Fire the guy who thought those Strat knobs would look good on an American Jazz. That looks like one of those cheap knockoffs with the replaced knobs.

Really does look like a dan smith one - wouldn't mind one of those. Bet they are stupidly expensive.

Woodinblack
So it is ~ £1500, so not crazy.
SurroundedByManatees
That's great looking! A dan Smith era copy with 60s pickup spacing🤗 It wouldn't look half that good without the white pickup covers. Slap on some covers and it looks pretty close to my 82: This bass has nothing to do with lightweight though; it's 11lbs.

My mate had a squier p bass with those knobs, and it does make them look cheap, which is actually quite annoying.
songofthewind
I dunno, I quite like the knobs. But then, I’ve got a Strat, so I’m used to them. It’s five string basses I can’t get used to, they look wrong wrong wrong!
Sarlscharisma
I think the Strat knobs look great. But I like 70s era basses - the good ones that is
fretmeister
7lb? Bless them - still heavier than my Sandberg!
Marc S
Lovely looking bass. As for the knobs - I wouldn't have thought I'd have liked strat versions on a Jazz But oddly enough, I do quite like them. It's a tad different, and does seem to have a 70's look about it 7lbs is light for a Jazz - nice Edited April 25, 2019 by Marc S
