Their unlined fretless P’s always look nice & good value, but never played one. Curious.

Owned that model, damn fine bass. 

Company behind Revelation bought Hohner UK and since Alan Entwistle had been their top man he does design work for Revelation.

Yeah, no one would describe it as particularly aesthetically pleasing, but they sound great. Let's remember that Lee Sklar's Frankenbass is a double P and he knows a thing or two about the playing in low end. 

 

EDIT: Of course if you really can't stand the look, a pair of Nordstrand Big Splits (or similar) would do the trick.
