troubadour
Paul Raymond, who sadly passed recently, on the back there . . . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-American-highway-one-Precision-Bass/264290409356?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Daa66d91944e24e7fad0fcdc4832b9759%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D264290409356%26itm%3D264290409356&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Acc51bbce-632c-11e9-a9e4-74dbd180869b|parentrq%3A3935791516a0abc2ce1a7da7ffe6cd78|iid%3A1 . . . is it really a Highway One though - that logo, maple neck, string through body? oldslapper
Those machineheads don’t look particularly well fitted, they’re a bit uneven? My guess is a bitsa. Edited April 20, 2019 by oldslapper
Aero71
That's a chinese faker.
Bassassin
It's a cheap & nasty copy with a fake sticker, wherever it was made. Maple neck with a separate glued-on fretboard?
Jean-Luc Pickguard
No way is it a highway one and not even a real Fender. its probably fairly safe to assume that the signatures are fake also. Maple neck with a separate glued-on fretboard? Could be a 'cap' if no skunk-stripe. But what's that white stuff at the start of the neck itself?? Roger2611
Screws at the front of the bridge as well a classic giveaway of a cheap nasty copy! Loving the shockingly bad truss rod access cut out on the pick guard, it looks like it was done with a kitchen knife and a blunt one at that! Definitely a cheap nasty knock off! BreadBin
At least there's plenty of photos of the cheap gig bag that comes with it!
