Born 2B Mild
I purchased this brand new from a dealer one year ago, after trying it in the shop first. The tone is so much more full than a traditional 'A' shaped Irish Bouzouki. The preamp works well and it has a built-in tuner. Unfortunately, I've been too distracted by my mandolin, so I'm taking a Bouzouki Break. At first glance, it appears as new. However, if you look carefully there are signs of use. I have attempted to show its condition in these photographs. The strings are in a very good state and will not require placing in the near future. The set up is nice for easy fingering and chord playing. With a strap it balances nicely when playing standing up. At this point in time, it is collection only from TQ9 6PA, however if I can find a used hard case cheap I may be able to post it. I can even drive for about an hour in your direction for a handover, if that helps. 'Try before you Buy' welcomed. It sells for between £633 to £699 online, new. Here is the description you will typically find elsewhere: Ozark 2246 Bauzouki Electro Acoustic Guitar, Natural Overview This Ozark 8-string bouzouki features a unique guitar shaped body that produces extra volume and a rich tone. It has a solid Spruce top for great sound production and is fitted with a Fishman under saddle transducer and EQ. The regular width guitar neck joins the body at the 14th fret and has eight strings in four courses. It is a superb value instrument made from high quality materials with the close attention to design that is a feature of all Ozark instruments. Features Solid spruce top Solid mahogany back & sides Guitar shaped body Chrome diecast machineheads Wood binding Fishman under saddle transducer EQ and endpin jack Dimensions Length: 102 cm Body Length: 49 cm Upper Bout: 28 cm Lower Bout: 38 cm Depth: 11 cm

pete.young
Lovely. If you and Frank Blank aren't able to come to an arrangement, please let me know. In the meantime, here's John Doyle demonstrating exactly what you can do with one of these:

Frank Blank
@Born 2B Mild & @pete.young Tried the Ozark out today, a really beautiful instrument but had my head turned by a Godin 12 string, which was my next try out so went for that.

Born 2B Mild
I've enjoyed owning and performing with A4, A5 A8 and A12, as well as a superb Shifter 5 bass. I have a feeling I might still have another Godin one day
