NikNik
Anyone heard of S71 guitars? Those keys look odd on a full size Fender headstock. Burst '
hooky_lowdown
The blue finish looks odd also, looks pretty poorly done.
Pea Turgh
Love the neck though!
Pea Turgh
Maybe they ran out of paint. That’d be pretty if the translucent blue was all over.
NikNik
It doesn't look like it's been grain-filled, either.
Cuzzie
I think that is rather splendid

TheGreek
Unusual finish...if that's what you're after.. https://www.usedguitars.co.uk/en/listings/638260-custom-shop-caribbean-burst-51-precision-bass-swamp-ash?image=1729691
Manton Customs
It’s not so much it’s an unusual finish as it’s poorly done. It’s fine having a burst and leaving the middle natural, but the perimeter is completely uneven and the transition is terrible. Suppose I can forgive him though because it’s got a Bare & knuckle pickup. Seriously bare AND knuckle 😆

CameronJ
I can’t seem to see a price?
Grahambythesea
That’s been for sale on Used forever! I wonder if anyone ever takes anything off that site as some guitars appear to have been advertised there for literally years! I tried to contact another seller through the site but never got a response. Has anyone actually asked S71 for a price?
uk_lefty
I think it looks nice. A Tele style headstock would look good on it but overall I think it's got potential.
Cato
I generally really like '51 style basses , from Harley Bentons to Fender Dusty Hill Custom Shop models. That one just looks a bit wrong to me.

Grahambythesea
Don’t panic guys, they’re both in someone’s shopping cart so you don’t have to buy them.
Mike Charvel Addict
Amazing guitars and basses, I own three S71 already and I'm not done, looking for a custom order. They're CNC made in the USA and handfinished in Switzerland, some cool guitar players seems playing them, Stevie Salas (Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, Rob Trujillo, Billy Gibbons, etc.), Josh Steely from DAUGHTRY, Joe Stump from ALCATRAZZ and so on... https://s71guitars.com/friends/
