I actually have a bit of a thing for single ply scratchplates but the white middle of a b/w/b makes the scratchplate stand out nicely against the black lower bout and horn of a sunburst. So I was thinking - solid black or BWB might modernise the thing, a bit... plus a paintjob would be better... Anyhoo, it's nice to hear from somebody who's right!
